Eucharist Ministers

Eucharist Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers are members of a very visible lay ministry, licensed by the Bishop to serve in their local parish.  The extent of participation in worship services is at the discretion of the priest.  At St. Paul’s Eucharistic Ministers lead the reading of the Psalm and the Prayers of the People during worship services, however, their primary responsibility is to assist the priest in administering the Holy Eucharist to the congregation.  Those who serve as Eucharistic Ministers find that being part of the principal act of Christian worship, the Eucharist, is very rewarding. There is one Eucharist Minister at the 8 AM service, and two at the 10:00 AM service.
